1969 427 Corvette, Beautiful Red Convertible. It is equipped with: Tilt and Telescoping steering column, Factory AM/FM radio, Original Rally Wheels. Two Tops, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Front Spoiler, 454 Rebuilt engine (not original), Automatic Transmission. Per the previous owner the engine and transmission were fully rebuilt as were all the brake calipers. The motor is reported to have approx 450 HP, it runs strong yet idles very well. It starts easily hot or cold and has a high torque starter. The exhaust appears as new and has its original headers. The seat covers are new as are the carpets. The dash and door panels are excellent. The tires are as new. The body is very straight and the original frame appears very solid. The paint is very nice but not show quality. There is a small chip on the left front fender about the size of a pencil eraser.
Even though it has two tops the convertible tops rear window is separated. (needs a new one). It runs and drives great. L71 from the tachometer. 64,955 miles. Colors from the trim plate. Built date is L14. April 16, 2009. |
